Scope of Work:
- Re-roof requiring new 38x38mm battens, radenshield and new concrete tile cover

Tile is an African Dawn mix: Through colour red 10%, Red farmhouse 10%, Through colour terracotta 10%, Terracotta farmhouse 10%, The main colour was Flame Orange 60%.
The project is based in an informal settlement and was great to be a part of. It was quite a challenge to secure uninstalled materials within this high risk area.
Getting the pattern right was a challenge as there are five different colours in the mix. The requirement to use local labour on the project did add to the demands of the project. On completion of the job the community liaison officer came and thanked us as they were very pleased with the aesthetics of the roof.
