Scheltema, Cape Town’s leading roofing, ceiling and partitioning contractor, is strengthening their management sructure and market offering.
Taking on the position of Director of Scheltema’s Residential and Commercial Departments is Kevin Jones, past Owner and Director of Wall-Erect Systems (Cape). With 25 years in the ceiling and partitioning industry, coupled with vast experience and expertise in the management of people, sites and finances, Jones is bringing not only his know-how to Scheltema but also a loyal client base.
Wouter Viljoen, formerly the Director of a number of Departments, is now Scheltema’s Managing Director (Scheltema is a division of Scheltema & Co (Pty) Ltd). Viljoen, who joined the company in 2012, has successfully managed the performance of a staff compliment of 95 and many of the company’s vast number of projects. He also has 15 years of contract management experience within the building industry. In his new role, Viljoen will lead a highly competent team that hopes to build on Scheltema’s success in the market, from residential projects to large commercial contracts.
Having served as the Scheltema’s Managing Director for over a decade, Michael van Breda is stepping into the role of CEO of Scheltema & Co. This will enable him to focus on growing the geographic footprint of the firm, develop new specialist contracting businesses such as rooftop solar installations and grow the company’s new property arm, Dwykashale.
